Each section will be evaluated by an experienced OTS teacher to determine if the reflection and evidence meets the following requirements:

  1. High Quality Reflection: Do they reflect for at least 500 words on their mastery of the indicators? Do they use proper English and grammar? Is this a college level effort? Is their reflection and self assessment focused on the goal of showing proficiency in the indicators?
  2. Proficiency: Is their presentation convincing that they have met all indicators for the category? Does their evidence support their self assessment? With your experience as an online teacher do they know enough in this category to begin teaching online or are there key parts they have not included in their reflection or evidence?
